25-11-2010 - The gobroadband alliance of 14 City Councils in MNSW is forming a relationship with the 18 qld City Councils to represent Regional Australia.


26-10-2010 - Joe Griffiths from Griffiths Consulting has joined the Southern Cross University GoBroadband project to assist and build awareness in the community in relation to the establishment of the university’s fast broadband technology centre and the creation of an e-demo centre in Coffs Harbour.


26-10-2010 - The Co-Chair of the SEQ Councils Digital Economy & Broadband Working Group, Ipswich and Sunshine Coast City Council representatives to visit Southern Cross University this week to discuss future collaboration opportunities in relation to the rollout of phase I and phase II of the NBN in Northern NSW.


26-10-2010 - NBN and Gobroadband Seminar held 5 October at the Coffs Ex Services Club Coffs Harbour, was gauged a success. Both community and industry seminar sessions were well attended by the local community. Speakers included Professor Peter Croll, leader of the GoBroadband project at Southern Cross University, and Glenn Holdstock Community and Stakeholder Relations Advisor from NBNCo.

She notes Tony Windsor has said he backed Labor because of the NBN, and Croll agrees, explaining the NBN will provide more entertainment options in the home.
